Beautiful people are popular in real schools, beautiful profiles are popular on Yuwie. Take this course and make your page popular for it's slick style.

The do's and don't of a stylish profile page

• Do use nice and small graphics, but don't use enormous heavy loading backgrounds, they make your page slow and unreadable. A reasonable size is 500x350 for a picture, and you can resize a picture with various softwares like photoshop or acdsee.
• Do use colors in your text, but don't turn your page into a rainbow by using too many, that look amateurish as hell.
• Do choose one or two nice fonts, but don't use more than two, and avoid the too classical Times new roman, Arial and other Comic ms, they're boring !
• Do pick contrasted colors for your text, but don't use flashy colors for the background or the font, that makes your page unreadable and damage my vision !
• Do enlight your main pages with a good looking photo, but don't post a 30 pictures article with 2 words content, the gallery is there for this !
• Do use audio or video in some of your pages, but don't use audio or video in your main profile page, I don't want my speakers to start yelling your latest pop crap when I don't expect it and I'm browsing in the middle of a restaurant. I want to be able to choose if I want to listen your stuff !
• Do approve cool personal comments on your profile, but don't approve glittering impersonal ones, they make your page look common, childish and too heavy, and they push the interesting comments and some users away.
• Do try to remember the best pages you've seen on the web, and take inspiration while creating yours, but don't copy random stuff on your page because someone asked you to or because you think it's cool while it's actually destroying the appearance of your page.

How to change your layout

Go to edit profile->layout, click the new template link, choose the template generator, then just play around with the controls until you reach something decent.We'll come back on the layout later with more advanced tips, so for now, this generator will give you a basic and easy control on it.
